Rock Band Microphone, a compatible usb device
i had a rock band microphone that broke. what hapened was there is a loose wire connection inside of the rock band microphone. Its a soldered connection that broke. i figured it out after i took the rock band microphone all apart, dissected it, and found the broken wire. Since i dont have a soldering kit, i did the next best thing, and bought a rock band microphone. These rock band microphones are all powered by the usb slot on your machine, wether that be the wii, xbox 360, or ps3 and ps2. All of the microphones, even guitar hero microphones will work as a rock band microphone. I know this by experience as well. I took rock band over to a friends house one night, and in the middle of the song, the rock band microphone started cutting out. Realizing what had happened, (the dog had chewed through the rock band microphone cord), we grabbed my friends guitar hero microphone, plugged it in, and it worked. Shortly after, I bought again, another new rock band microphone.
